If you want a broker that is reliable as well as give you an affordable commission, look no further than Interactive Brokers. This is the broker that I use and in my opinion is the best stock broker out there. This company is listed on the stock market with the ticker symbol IBKR so rest assured you are dealing with a reputable and established company.

The cons of Interactive Brokers:
I do not know which is the best stock broker for day trading but when it comes to swing trading or longer term investing, I firmly believe that Interactive Brokers is the best. They have the best commission, period.
It may take some time to master their platform but for swing traders all you need to know is how to buy a stock, how to put a stop loss and how to take a profit. That's all. For charting software, I do not recommend using their in house software but I recommend that you use Freestockcharts.com. You can read about it at The Best Stock Chart Provider For Swing Trading.
The above is how I setup the Interactive Broker account. It is not as complicated as it seems and after a few days you will be able to go through it smoothly. If you have $10,000 I highly recommend that you trade with this broker. Use their practice account as you go through this course. Try Interactive Brokers now
